The neural network architecture has undergone two updates and is currently in its 8th version. This release marks the removal of the traditional handcrafted evaluation and the transition to fully neural network-based approach. Starting from this version of Chess Studio it is possible to play games against opponents using the aforementioned libraries. • New feature: double chess board for analysis on the same screen! You can view and or analyze two different games at the same time. From the main menu select "Double Chess Board".

• The new version of the Stockfish 12 engine with the support of the Neural Networks (NNUE) has been integrated. NNUE support replaces the classical evaluation with an efficiently updatable Neural Network. You can enable/disable the NNUE support. According to the developers of Stockfish the new version with the NNUE support is about 110 ELO stronger than Stockfish 11.

• The interface that contains the moves of a game has been modified and enhanced. The default settings have been changed but the interface is completely configurable by the user. You can change the colors of the background and the moves. There are ten types of figurines to represent the pieces. You can view a game in compact mode or with a high degree of indentation, you can adjust margins, line spacing and alignment. It is possible to insert fully configurable diagrams within a game (you can set pieces, board border and coordinates). And much more! A special section has been inserted for setting all the parameters relating to the notation of a game.
